Have not posted here in a while and thought some might like to see some fun I have had playing with damascus. Here is a knife I just completed with snake skin Damascus made with ball bearings (52100 steel) and 4800KC steel. Took a few tries before I could get the pattern like I wanted but it is fun anyway. It has an 8 3/4 inch blade and is 14 1/8 inches overall. The blade steel was made from 52100 ball bearings in a canister with 4800 KC steel. Both high carbon. Sterling silver ferrule and nickel silver fittings. The India Sambar stag is a cut that I sent to Culpeppers to have amber died. Hope you like it.

That's really cool!!! At first glance it almost looked like a file blade. I really like it.

I seriously thought there was a rattlesnake skin saya covering the blade when I first glanced at it. Looking closer.....it STILL looks like rattlesnake. Stunning work!!!

Your work is awesome. I'm especially a fan of your stag and damascus knives and this is no exception.
