I've been meaning to grab some paracord to experiment with, so I finally got some and here are my first few attempts.

Burgundy and Green bracelets.

Good stuff, it's amazing how addictive just tying knots in a piece of string can be. :p

If you have a spare hour or so you can make a cool dog lead too.:thumbup:

I thought that's what it looked like. It's called a cobra knot, or Solomon bar, or Portuguese sinnet.

How many feet of cord in that leash?

I'm not sure, the finished lead is about 4.5'. I can't remember the ratio for that knot though, it was quite a lot any way.

Paracord has got to be one of my favorite things in the world, right up there with Duct Tape and WD40. The cobra weaves look great, and if you re-weave a bracelet again, (using the main weave as the core,) you get a King Cobra weave, thicker bracelet but very cool looking especially with a contrasting color. Right now I'm pretty obsessed with my new hank of Safety Orange paracord. Everything in the BOB is getting new lanyards and tabs lol.

Those are very well done. I especially like the red/maroon braceley and the handle on that laptop bag. I'll have to order up some cord and get busy here soon.

Nice work. Unfortunately I'm one of those folks who needs several hands on lessons when it comes to handy work like that.

I usually suck at this kind of thing to, but I watched a few Youtube videos and followed along. It really wasn't hard at all doing it that way.

Give it a try!

I only know this one stitch right now, but I'll try to learn more as time goes on.
