Playing with some kitchen concepts

It was Scagel-style-only for about ten years there, so branching out with some very non-Scagel concepts has been a lot of fun. Alabama Damascus with freehand flat and convex grinds. I am basing [most of] these off the shapes that my mom uses in the kitchen. Most of these are still available at www.cunninghamcustomshop.com:

I can understand where you’re coming from, but I consider custom kitchen cutlery a luxury item and not something to bother with trying to sell to the average household- you’ll sink your own ship trying to please everyone with affordability. I know the value of my hands, time and experience, and that my prices will exclude many doesn’t bother me. “Good knives aren’t cheap, and cheap knives aren’t good”.

I always appreciate the craftsmanship of handmade knives, especially with American designs, and yours are certainly ones to admire.
