Good Evening.
It is I, the Notoriously Repeititititive Vampire Gerbil.
Way back when ago (9/8/03), I spouted and spewed about this knife I was having made for me by MSGT Kim Breed and wanted to pass said info on primarily to uniformed officers should the fan get icky. That post is HERE if ya wanna read it.
Well Hell's Belles in a Waterproof Casket, the blade got to me last Saturday! That's right! Like really fast!!!
Anyhow, I (naturally) added it to my WEAPONS PAGE but decided that page was sorta lengthy already so I went and made its own seperate page - HERE.
I thought someone one of those new fangled 14.4K modems might wanna see the blade nw, and I mean, NOW!
Anyhoo, I never claimed to be an expert in knifeology, but I think I can tell good from bad (I DO have TWO Knife Shows under my belt now. Ahhh-thankyou!) but anyhow, to me, this quality, quality, pretty. more quality, sharp cuz it already made my best friend bleed and my father in law bleed .... yeah, I know what you're thinkin'! This one's gonna get me checked in to the ICU for a month or year, cuz it's saving up some mighty wicked slashes comin' my way. Don't wory though. If I ain't dead, I'll post the pics!!
I feel that I should say again, at this point (yep, that was a pun!) that the knife was made by MSGT Kim Breed and I dunno about the rest of you guys but Kim Breed is to "low profile" as TOPS is to High Profile.
That nasty thingy's gonna be in Blade Magazine under "What's New".
I told Kim that I would like it scribed/etched/wroted upon "Vampire Gerebil", please, but he doesn't go to the forums so he gave me that odd look.
Yeah, THAT look!
Do you know how idiotic I felt when I came up to a few people whom I THOUGHT I knew, saying, "Hi. Do I know you? I'm Vampire Gerbil".
Yeah, it gets weird.
Anyhow Kim and I .... ok, Kim settled with the model "VeeGee" so's all the important people (you computer based knifeaholics) would know what it meant.... Not to mention if someone wrote IN asking what it stood for.
(Seriously folks- that's not a hint! I just think it'd be funnier than a duck walking on Crosco-covered ice should an attempt be made explaining it.)
Now then, if ya just wanna see the above mentioned knife, it's HERE
But if you'd care to see the rest of the reasons why I gotta go the post office to get my mail, Click Here
You'll see what knives I got myself yelled at for this time... so ya might wanna go there and think of me nack when I had TWO kidneys.
While I'm at it, I met a whole buncha "US" there too!
I'm reluctant to put down all the names cuz I'll probably... no, I WILL forget SOMEONE and they'll get insulted.... like a post I once did about the Las Vegas Custom Knife Show and forgot to mention just a couple of names that nobody'd ever heard of.....
Tom Mayo and Trace Rinaldi.
This time, I woulda forgotted Ed Fowler or was that Jerry Fisk?
(There's a rumor that they have something to do with knives. I shoulda used that opportunity to whoever that was sharpen them Furies I got from HSN.)
DAGNABBIT! Opportunities we lose!!
(Wiping tear from nostril)
So anyhow if I saw ya, it was nice meeting with ya. As for a very good friend that suggested it, I can't ay thanks enough times, my friend.
Off to count feathers on this iguana I'm fixin' for brunch,
I remain,
Vampire Gerbil
Farewell!
