Hi there,

I spoke to Dan yesterday and he tells me that there are only a few books left for the show.

Dan only issues a fixed and limited number of bidding books to the guests, so if u are still on the fence, then get off!

Starts one week from tomorrow- the "Evening of the Cutlery Arts" Friday October 6, 5 PM to 10PM.

The Friday night event is the ballot box system. Each buyer has a book with the names of the knifemakers and a numbered ballot matching the featured knife. You can bid on any particular knife, knowing that only one ballot can be cast per knife/ballot box.

Your chance to own knives from these folks;

Bill Ankrom, Todd Begg, Phil Boguszewski, Bailey Bradshaw, Clint Breshears, Joel Chamblin, Pat Crawford, Al Dippold, Duane Dwyer, Rick Eaton, Allen Elishewitz, Ernie Emerson, John Fitch, Dennis Friedly, Stan Fujisaka, Tim Galyean, Don Hanson III, Wally Hayes, Rick Hinderer, Matt Lerch, Greg Lightfoot, Jim and Joyce Minnick, Dusty Moulton, Mel Nishiuchi, Ken Onion, Warren Osborne, Steve Olszewski, Mel Pardue, W. D. Pease, Alfred Pendray, Darrel Ralph, Chris Reeve Knives, Richard Rogers, Eugene Shadley, Mike Snody, Jim Sornberger, Ken Steigerwalt, Mick Strider, Robert Terzuola, Warren Thomas, Brian Tighe, Butch& Rainy Vallotton, Owen Wood and John Young !

For the while story click here. In my opinion (I am not alone), one of the best shows in the custom knife game.

I'll second that Neil,Dan puts on a firstclass Show.Hope to see all there (even though it will lessen my shot at the big guns)

Bailey Bradshaw and I are going to fight to the death with wakizashi. Tickets will be on sale, Friday night, at Bailey's table. Except he doesn't know about it yet.....shhhhhhhh, don't tell him.:D

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Now Steve needs to understand that I HAVE to use his waki. I certainly can't sell mine with his blood on it, so if I use his, there won't be any problem;)

It is a great honor to be invited to display knives at this show.

Stop by!
See you there.

P.S. Kohai999 I would like to meet you.

Darrel, we have actually met 2x before, once at the OKCA show in Eugene, OR, once at Blade, in Atlanta, GA.

I look forward to viewing your current works.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

You have brought up a 2006 post. Go to the site in Neil's post and click on the 2008 show link. Gray is listed as a maker this year.
