Just received this one and was pleasantly surprised at how different it was from the sales thread.

Was purchased here http://www.ebay.com/itm/230872401214?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648

This is what I received.

I believe this is one of the originals that Chris Reeve did himself back in the mid 90's

Very nice! It's got a lot more color than the ad showed.

Niiice...I think I would email those pics to Heather and see if she can show Chris. I'm sure he will remember making it.

Very cool piece of CRK history Dino:thumbup:

Definitely send some pics to CRK, I bet they could give you some background on it.

That's a great idea. I have an email from Anne confirming that my UG was also made by Chris. I wonder how many he made altogether. I'd love to stumble up on another.

I think I remember reading on here that Lisa (I think) showed Chris a knife she had brought with her to a show, and he said he remembered the time he made it...how cool!!

I think that's the knife I have now. I got it from here, after missing it several times as it made the rounds here,

The thing that makes this one special is the bi-colored graphics nearest the CR logo and the condition it's in for an almost 20yr old folder.

It has handling marks but never sharpened. I've heard that the anodizing fades with exposure to the oils in ones hands, this one looks new.

Oil can nearly kill the colour totally but the oil only kills your ability to see it, remove the oil and the colours are like new again. That's cool knife too, congrats.

A great piece of history, and in such great condition, Dino! Congratulations snagging it!

Damn fine piece of CRK history, anything Chris did himself is high on my want list. How very cool

Here is the other one I received today, a cross-hair with a swedge blade NIB, it's been a good week.
