Today I was picking up some random stuff at Meijer, and an Outdoor Edge folder caught my eye. The pic's from Outdoor Edge's website.

Have to say, for $20, I'm very impressed. Nice even grinds, even polish, the Kraton scales are grippy without being too aggressive, and the lock is smooth. No play in any direction, and the edge is shaving right out of the box.

The one oddity is the packaging. It says that it comes with a pocket clip to make sheath carry unnecessary, but then comes with a sheath and no clip.

I'm putting it through its paces this weekend. I'm so far pleased, so the standards will be high.

If it's got drilled holes for a clip, then it should have come with a clip. I had a few of those (10 years ago) and they all had removable clips.

You´ve got yourself a EKA Swede 10. I was also surprised over the quality and the sharpness of this knife. There are no pocket clips on this modell. Mine has wood handles.

If you check out the Outdoor Edge website, it mentions collaborating with EKA some products, or at least it used to.

EKA is nice stuff, right up there with Helle and other top scandanavian manufacturers.

While I've not purchased any as of yet, the Outdoor edge line seems to offer a lot of innovation it's products and good materials for the money.
