Please advice (What Sebenza)

Witch sebenza Do I get for a user?

I really like the limited edition regular woody Sebenza. However the mirror finish and shiny handle might inhibit me from using it. I am thinking about a macarta one. My fear is that I might regret not getting the more expensive one. I cant buy both.

What do you advice guys? Save up for the expensive one or get a normal one? It will be my user and everyday Carry.
Does the Mirror finish look worse if used?

If you are going to use it everyday and if ruining the finish on a higher end model then get the Large Micarta Classic. I've been carrying one since July 2005 and it has only gotten better looking with use.

I concur with the Micarta Classic. :thumbup: Now you need to decide between the small and large :D

We do have a CR forum where you may find more advice.
Otherwise I'd say it's up to you. I like the woody a lot better, but how you respond to marks of use in a much more expensive knife is a subjective thing.
 
Make that a third, for the Micarta Classic. Now, large or small is the quandry!!
 
Yeah, if you're worried about it the Micarta version is a good choice. I'd go with a Classic because of the increased access to the lockbar that it gives you. Of course, I'd probably just get the plain-jane version myself. If you scratch the surface or whatever and you're worried about it, $35 will have it looking good as new.
