FINNISH Urban Lynx Puukko with Walnut Handle.
Is it worth around 60 $?

How would this particular one do as a bushcraft knife?

It will probably cut just fine, but I would be concerned with the type of tang the blade has. I own Mora knives with short tangs that do just fine, but with the wooden handle, it's difficult to say how big the tang actually is and how it is secured into the wood, is another fact that's important. Usually in wooden handles, the blades have stick tangs, which can be weak, if not full length of handle. If you can find out the info to these questions it will help you make a better decision.

I can't say one way or the other if it's worth $60.00 or not. That's up to you and your pocketbook. However, I will say that I wouldn't pay that for it, because I can get good scandi knives for a lot less money. As an example, you can pick up a Mora, for under $10.00. A full length stick tang Mora with wood handle, for well under that $60.00 mark.

Looks all right, but I would buy 5 different moras instead, if you don't have some already.
I do like the handle though.

what would do allot to concinve me is if I could get a look at the bottom of the handle to see if the stick tang connects... If it does than it should be a fine knife.

Basic Marttiini Lynx ought to have a full-length tang that's peened over a rivet at the butt. That's what they were like when I last had one but lord knows what they might have done with the design since.

I would contact the owner of Bens Backwoodsman. From what I've been told he's a pretty straight up guy and will tell you what he knows. They also sell Jarvenpaa puukos which I think are a great deal. At that price range, I'd be tempted to go to $75 and buy the kellam which are known to be real troopers. Or perhaps consider an enzo kit and bolt slabs on yourself.

I suspect it might be of a fairly low carbon content steel at 56 / 57. If I'm correct that would make it rather tough compared to many knives like that but not so great at the edge retention thing. I suspect something very much harder and with a higher carbon content could be over budget, but still, I'd be looking for something erring more toward sharp and hard rather than something soft and tough.

Just a guess but well worth looking into before you commit.
