Please advise me ( I need a new 12inch laptop}

Hi
I need a 12inch laptop for portability to be my new office work travel computer.

I have a 15 inch laptop but I want to keep it home because its too big for bags and too heavy and thick to carry around.

What brand and what features to look for? ( No Apple products)

The Google samsung chrome book is pretty cool. Only $250. The OS is internet based and mostly everything is stored in the cloud. Theyd work good for a small, light, on the go type thing. But Idk much about how Google docs and MS office work together so that could be a problem for you.
 
I use a Fujitsu 15" Consumer grade laptop. It's my second and I couldn't be happier with the products.

My first was a Business grade and the service is better for business machines and handled here in the US. The service on the consumer grade stuff is handled in the Philippines but I haven't needed it for more than a follow up on an order.

They don't offer a 12" but have some 13" that are listed as "thin and light" http://solutions.us.fujitsu.com/www/content/products/ .
 
Lenovo makes a couple convertible laptops that look nice, one with a twist screen and a "yoga" model that folds in half. The convertibles make sense for that small of a laptop, especially with windows 8.
 
Hewlett Packard is what I would recommend for business class usage. They cost more and are build better.
