Please bring back the standard scale option.

I'm definitely down for more options. I love the removable hardware sentiment as well. That would only increase the knives versatility imo. I mean.. If you could remove the scales you could lash them to a stick and make a makeshift spear to fish, hunt, self defense, etc.. I like it

I hear you but I want to give my honest opinion, if that's still allowed...

I disagree, a big part of the Busse world is Combat. Has anyone had a scale come off or even come loose ?
A second part is for us non combat people who want something unique and functional. The unique part often has to do with the scales, i.e. Snake Skin vs Gray G10.
My final argument, they are Removable. You can buy a $15 drill a set it $3 bits and remove them. For another $20 you can install some nice stainless steel fasteners. Or spend $150 and buy the the tools to replace the Tubes as intended.
 
I do like my ASH with the standard scales ! I think it is honestly a case of Jerry having figured out what sells well and balancing the costs/production time/processing between the different options. Busse is no longer a boutique maker so what he does to streamline production keeps the end cost down as well.

Unfortunately... i think most here would rather pay more to get exactly what they want.
I know I would 🙂
I also have a obscene amount of $$ to get some custom shop work done on my hog badger but apparently that isn't wanted either 😅

I would certainly take standard and let the mags be a touch more. I also have money and ready to send in or have some customs made for me. Think they have cut down on some headache but losing out on some money. Always a give and take in a production environment.
