I just paid for a basic membership using my credit card. The screen came back as a failure but my card was charged the 10 bucks.
Does this happen often? Will I be able to post pics and have an avatar.

Spark doesn't go to Blade.

wazu, Spark is the only one who can deal with the money, but what happens is, if there is a prob with the order, your credit card puts a hold on the money you offered to spend, and in a few days, when Bladeforums doesn't take it (screen came back as a failure) the hold will disappear. Your money really never left your bank account.

Add your transaction number to your original post.
Spark has already said that he is backlogged and is getting to these as time permits.
 
I merged the two threads on th same subject so Spark doesn't have to hunt for info in 2 places.
Please edit some reference # into the first post here.
 
If it failed then it's an authorization hold that your bank put on the funds. It should come off in a few days.

I have been charged for the subscription but my settings still won't allow me to use an avatar. If the $10 script won't allow it let me know. I must have done something wrong when I filled out my application. I'm like an Irish Setter, you have to hit me twice with a 2x4 before I get it right. Either way it's no big deal, it's still money well spent as long as you got it.

The transaction failed even though a hold was put on those funds. The hold should come off in a few days.
You will have try to order a subscription again, you can't be activated until the transaction is completed.
 
Yep, just confirmed, the charge failed because of AVS - you didn't put in the right billing address, or your bank doesn't use AVS. Either way, your charge didn't go through, so it's an auth hold that will drop off. We don't have yo money
