I purchased a mint Spyderco Wegner Jr a year or so back.
When I received it, I was absolutely blown away by it's design and quality.
It is easily on par, qality and design wise with my Large Sebenza!!!
And it cost less than half what I paid for the Reeve.
Yet, I use the Sebenza every day but cannot bring myself to use the Wegner.
Please help me!?!
The Wegner Jr is the right size between my Sebenza and my William Henry Lancet (which I use for dressy occasions)for EDC.
But I can't bring myself to use it!
WHAT IS MY MAJOR MALFUNCTION! (say it in your best R. Lee Ermey voice)
I think I need to see a "Knife Therapist" for this!

Maybe you secretly hate it? Seriously. You probably like the benza better.;) It that simple.

ALRIGHT MAGGOT!!! Drop and give me 50 blade flicks with each hand. After that little warm up, we'll get down to some blade theapy.:D
Sometimes you just have to cut something and go for it. Start in the kitchen where damage of any kind will be minimal and use will be frequent. That will give you a working idea of whether or not it even suits you.
After you find that it doesn't, box it up and mail it to the Doc.;)

Send the Spyderco Wegner Jr to me...That'll solve your problem.:).

Youz guyz are a piece of woik!
50 blade flicks with each hand, I can do that in my sleep!
Dann, I would send it to you if the thing weren't discontinued and it didn't take me so long to find it in the first place.
Putting it simply. YOU'RE BEAT!
I really like Alberta Ed's idea of whipping it into the wall.
But just to clarify, do you mean sheetrock or brick? I want to follow your instructions to the letter.
In all seriously, I do like the Sebenza better overall, specially for big tasks. But the Wegner Jr is really comfy in the hand for such a small knife. And the quality is absolutely Top Notch! Spyderco really underpriced this one. The only thing that I'm not sure about is the blade shape. It's really a modified skinner shape and I'm not sure it'll work well cutting up boxes and fruit.
I will start rotating it in with the Sebenza though, starting tomorrow.
Thanks for all the input y'all.
(I gotta use the "y'all" cuz my wife is from San Antonio)

If your worried about scarring it up then carry it, use it for light cutting, and strop the blade when needed, and if it has the serrations use a leather string to strop them!!
