Off Topic Please could somebody give me some more information on a knife?

Hello, I was given a knife by father when I was younger, never took any notice to what it was. However it is a very interesting style ans I have used it fishing and now hunting.
I don't know how to attach photos to this post but will send if anyone has a clue about it

It says on it Samson (with engravement picture of a lion) on one side.
And Pacific cutlery japan with a butterfly on the other side.

I cant find this specific knife anywhere
I must of got given it about 20 years ago

Pacific Cutlery was the predecessor to Benchmade. Knife maker Jody Samson designed and ground a bunch of knives for Les deAsis back in 1980s. In case you are not familiar, Samson designed and made the weapons for the Schwarzenegger Conan movies and other well known Hollywood productions.

I think you need a paid membership to add photos directly to the forum. Otherwise, you would need to use a photo hosting site.

There are no newer models.
Use a free host such as Imgur. Open a free account, upload pic, copy the BBCode link (the one with IMG tags) of the pic and paste it here.
 
You didn't specify folder of fixed-blade.

There are quite a few different models of Samson fixed-blades and folders with that logo. My suggestion, if you haven't done it already, is to go to Arizona Customs and do a search for "Jody Samson". You might find your model there. I saw several different Samson knives there with the lion logo on one side, and the butterfly on the other.

Or, post pictures :) .

To post pictures as a registered user, upload the picture to a web hosting site. Then copy the web address of the picture and click on the picture tool on the tool bar of your post. Choose LINK. Then paste the address into the tool and click INSERT.
