Besides them being way overpriced :foot:

Anyhow, pulled one out of the trenches. I was told this particular one came from a shot show.
After a look around, im not finding much on this. Any help is appreciated, thanks!!

EDIT: Thanks for your help guys!

at first glance it looks like a modded crank with a different blade. The logo on the handle looks ok but the logos on the blade and box are a bit suspect to me at least. I have never seen a blade with a bootle opener. The pivot screw is also different. The rumor is that surefire is closing their edged weapons division so I'm not sure where this particular knife has come from.
Please don't take this the wrong way but if I was that on evilly, I would think that it was a fake. Again, just my opinion which is worth essentially nothing.

any chance we could get more pics? btw, the original crank also had thumbstuds on the blade

I would guess it was done by someone other than Surefire. I haven't heard anything about special edition Surefire knives especially since they just discontinued their knife division.

I have the Dart and I'm hoping to pickup a Jekyl or Charlie when the prices come down.

Oh, and the original Crank is a bar lock like the Dart, not a liner lock.

Looks like it might be a fake?

Let me go grab a picture of my box and Dart for you to compare.

This is a box pic I found online. I'm uploading mine but they match.

It's hard to lay a finger precisely on it but it looks kind of fake to me. Subtle things about it that bring the whole thing together. Surefire knives LOOK as expensive as they cost. This looks like a (relatively well done) Chinese knock-off. I could be totally wrong though.

looks like a fake to me... sorry bro. look at the logo on the handle, its totally different than surefires logo.

There is actual a "report fakes" on the SF knife site page. Will report to them. Thanks for your help guys!

From what I can see:

Box is wrong.
Surefire logo is wrong
Surefire blades don't have markings
Crank is a bar lock with thumb stud/blade stops
Pocket clip is wrong
Pivot is wrong
