Also, if you make a predetermined list of the “best known” folders, you have already heavily skewed the data by omitting countless knives from even being considered. What about the Kershaw Leek? Spyderco Techno? Cold Steel isn’t even on the list? The Benchmade full-size Griptilian has a billion variants but gets one all-encompassing entry when the Sebenzas and Spydercos get several per model?
