Please extend New Posts

The New posts search function is limited to only 20 pages.
In practical terms, this means it is useful only for intervals of less than a day.
Can anything be done about this?

Sorry, nothing I can do about that... it's hardwired based on the last time you visited.

I did some hunting on the Vbulletin and now will rephrase my question:

Could you increase the maximum search results from 500 to 700 or so?
This would allow the "New Posts" function to cover a longer length of time.

In other words, there are more than 500 new posts per day, so the older posts get cut out of the search by the maximum results.
