Okay, I'm going on my honeymoon starting next Tuesday (getting married this Sunday), and I'm trying to figure out what & how to bring.

Options:
Delta Darts (x7)
Gerber Applegate/Fairbairn Covert
Kershaw/Ken Onion Blackout
CRKT Mirage (x2)

I'm not planning on carrying anything in the airports/on the plane, but I would like something (read here: as much as possible) once I get where we're going. (It's St. Martin, btw, if that effects the responses.)

I also have a kubotan-type item with a wrist thong that I'm sticking in my suitcase ... if anyone asks, it's a kinky sex toy and they *really* don't wanna know. :D That should quash any questions right off the bat.

So any thoughts on how to transport one (or more) to my honeymoon destination? I would *greatly* appreciate the help ... i flew to FL last May, and didn't bring *anything* ... I nearly went NUTS being unarmed, and it was only for three days! This is 12!!!

if you have a bali, stick it in your checked luggage. they're ever-so romantic. ;)
seriously, though, bring whatever you want. as far as i can gather, you have no restrictions, so just tuck some stuff into your suitcase (the one you put through the baggage check). i'd bring the mirages and the gerber a/f covert.
peace.

I thought I had a shot at playing Dr. Ruth there for a minute there

Seriously, I would pack a minimum of what you need to feel complete. Leave the rest home. If you pack an aresenal, you might have a hard time explaining the purpose in that. Most authorities aren't knifeknuts (what a shame).

You can take a modest folder, a gentleman's pocket knife as it were. I know I wouldn't be without something.

Of course, Barnaby now tells me that my next gentleman's pocket knife is delayed until next year. Oh well.

I always like to take a Leatherman PST when traveling. It's handy for broken luggage straps, loose screws, bottle caps, etc. For a honeymoon, you might even want a Leaterman Flair with its corkscrew and canape' knife. Remember, if the woman doesn't find you handsome, at least she should find you handy... and if she can find you both, well, so much the better!

From your list, I'd recommend you carry one Mirage and put the Gerber in your luggage. If you have the Medium-sized Mirage, that is the one I'd carry. I think the Kershaw has considerable potential for problems. I think the Delta darts could cause big problems. By their very nature, they have no legal use. They are strictly weapons, and designed to avoid the magic metal detectors.

If you had a neck knife, I'd suggest taking it, maybe taking it instead of the Gerber. Seems possible that some blushing brides would respond positively to a fellow wearing a knife for certain activities. THen again, maybe not.
