Please help I.D. fire axe

The handle is evidently a replacement, that type of capped wedge was generally an "aftermarket" improvement (so it gives no clue to the axe maker), and without a maker's mark on that heavily used axe head, it's probably impossible to identify the maker. Just my opinion.

It's quite a task to date a recognizable head. Let alone one with no identifiers. I understand your wanting to know but not gonna happen on that one. Its part of the mystery, part of the fun. Take care man.
