I have owned more than a few knives most of which are fixed blades.Over time i have ''honed'' (pun fully intended!) my tastes i used a Gerber Freeman, a Gerber LMF 2, Cold Steel Bushman, and a Ka-Bar BK7 and i like its length but i want something a bit bigger and heaver and i want it around 8''-10'' and 1/4" thick and here's the kicker under $115 any suggestions are appreciated so please help!

Buck Hoodlum, that is one bada** knife. It's light, 1/4" thick, and is just amazing. Doing a quick search, it can be had for a few dollars over $115.

Yes I do like the looks of the BK9 but i don't really like my BK7's weight because of its skelitonized handle. I would think t BK9 would have the same issue

More weight in the tang/handle does nothing to improve performance or ease of use; quite the opposite in fact.
