Hi,
I forgot that I even had this knife. My dad bought it at a auction about 18-20 years ago. There is no name or markings on it.
It came in with the leather sheath that is shown in the last photo.

Would be great to find out some info on this knife:)

Thanks for looking.

JP

BTW: the handle is 5 inchs and the blade 5 1/2 inchs.
It takes a great edge also, just put a hair popping edge on it :)

pahl,

Is there anything stamped on the bottom of the sheath? In the photo it looks like there is a seal mark on the leather.

No, I could not find anything on the sheath. I think I see what you are looking at on the photo. Its just some ware marks on the leather.

I have used the knife a few times deer hunting years ago, put it away and kind of forgot about it till now.

Thanks,
JP

Post this under The Bernard Levine Knife Collecting and Identification Forum. He might be able to identify it. You might also try the Buck Knives Forum. Buck made some economy knives during the late 40s and early 50s that looked a little like this. I would have expected it to have been marked "Buck" on the tang, so it's a long shot but give it a try.
