So I received this knife from my grandfather when I was younger, and didn't have much interest in knives, but I kept it all this time. It has no identifying engravings, and out of all of my efforts to find its origin, I've come up empty handed. Any info to point me in the right direction of identifying it, would be much appreciated! Thanks to all who take the time to stop and think about it!

I would guess imperial, providence or other mid-20th century makers of budget knives. Not much collector value but how it came into your hands should be value enough. Enjoy!

That would be a "folder", I believe they are called. Very interesting alternative to a fixed blade. Becoming quite popular since, IIRC, Roman times. They can be found now, rarely here and there. Hope this helps and good luck with I.D. ;) :D
Thanks, Neal
Ps maybe a shot of the flip side or pile side would help

Imperial may be a good call. It could also be earlier Colonial. It looks like yours doesn't have the solid bolsters, but the stamped bolsters that are integral to the liners. That does help narrow it down some.
