Please help identify this handle material

Can someone help me identify the handles on this knife?

My guess is that it's tigerhide micarta with some proto-fusion handle shaping.

In any case, I love it.

the blk/tan is much lighter then the color in the picture... but im sure it is G10.

It's G-10 and it's the old black and Tan G-10 which came out before the new black and tan which looks more like black and grey.

That's pretty nice looking! I agree that black/tan is usually more of a black/white in color, that looks more black/brown.

It is coyote/blk not blk/tan.

The older stuff was more brown than white/grey. Don;t know why they stopped using it. I've seen a few CG FBM's with it but not many.

I have seen some of those too.

Like others have said the "new" blk/tan looks more like white/black.


It looks just like coyote/black on the new BAD's.

Coyote/Black G-10 like the Boney AD that just sold out at the Company Store and the 1911 grip in the last Ganzaa. Sweet looking for sure.

Thanks all! I liked the coyote BAD but had no reason to buy one. Hopefully that material is used in the future on other mid-sized models.

That's what I say too. I have a Blk/Tan FBM with the same color.

might be the coyote, but i had an cgfbm with blk/tan from the first batch, and the scale color looked identical.
