Hello,

I'm looking for a lumberjack/plumber or anything two layer with at least the combo tool and the wood saw. I would LOVE to have a two layer just like the lumberjack/plumber, but I can't seem to get it in the US. If I can't get it at all, I guess I'll have to settle with a farmer, which I think is comparable, but 3 layers.

Can anyone suggest where I can get a lumberjack or what other knives are comparable? Looking for a minimalist; combo tool is a must, prefer a wood saw in the mix.

The Matt Lumberjack is available in the UK from Heinnie Haynes.

It is not cheap though, at £9.95.

They will charge £4.50 to ship to the US.

If you can't order from them direct, I might be able to help.
 
unfortunately, that doesn't show anything 2 layer, or even 3 layers (aside from the farmer).

I'm hoping for someone in the US who can import it. Barring that I'll try to get it at the shop recommended.

Thanks for the link. It shows that Basic 66 and Lumberjack are the only 2 layer tool available with at least the combo tool, main blade and saw.

Thanks for the help. It seems like I'm going to have to shell out $30 for the lumberjack from a UK shop.

Any other ideas?
 
Dick's Sporting Goods has them too, sadly at the same price, but at least you get free shipping. Hope this helps.
