Please help!!! Information needed!

Hello. I'm trying to get some info on my knife.I bought it at the flea market so it didn't come with any paperwork. All I know about it is what is on the knife itself. On one side it says (Fury 12397) and on the other it says (440 stainless Japan). I know it's a fixed blade tanto, but that's it. I'm posting this from my phone so hopefully this uploads. It's the same knife as mine.

The picture isn't showing. If you are not a paying member you need to use a picture hosting website (photobucket, imgur, ect.) to post pictures. Just upload and then copy and paste the IMG link that it gives you. Quite simple. I still use that method.

I look forward to seeing it but probably wont be able to help with the ID. I'm sure someone will come along who can.

Welcome. Fury knives from Japan are low-quality Japanese fantasy/ninja stuff.

Thanks. Sadly, not a great knife "440 stainless" is "code" for mystery, cheapo, junk steel, unfortunately.

There are good cutlery 440 steels and they are named specifically, 440A, 440B, 440C. If steel is one of those, it will include the letter.

Fun knife....letter opener? Not really a "user."
