Please Help, is this 940 real or fake? (Posted previously in general forum)

Look real to me with some anodized or aftermarket hardware.
 
It looks real to me, maybe replacement screws but it could just be the lighting.

Same you need to see the blade new from dealer they go for around$170. If blades not scratched up should be good, else talk him down more.

Ask about blade play.

One of the big clone websites has started selling carbon fiber 940 & 943's, but I've never seen a fake regular 940. Looks like someone just decided to complete the Mardi Gras color scheme with some gold screws.

Hey, OP, I'd tell my buddy to go ahead and make an offer, but definitely hold out for a hat like Coreys.:cool:
