Please help - Log on/email verification issues

Hi there,

Whenever I use this forum anywhere but at work, I am told I need to verify my email or I'm not allowed to post or even browse forums. Despite numerous attempts, even changing my email address (which then later just changes back), I am not receiving any e-mail verification whatsoever. I've tried to send verification emails to numerous email addresses, and I've even checked my junk mail inbox's as well, to no avail.

When using my work computer everything is fine, but nowhere else. No matter where I am and regardless of whether Im using either of my laptops or desktop. Could somebody please help?

I never have to log in unless I've logged out last session. I go to the website & it recognizes me. When you log in, do you check the box that says "remember me"?

You are leaving out too many details.
What kind of computer do you have at home versus at work?
How is the network at your job different from what you have at home?
What browser are you using at work versus at home? Version number? Build number?
Operating system?
Are you running a firewall at home (software or hardware)?
Are you trying to use a proxy server of some sort through your internet provider at home?
Who is your email provider that you have listed in Bladeforums? Verizon.net? Gmail? AOL?

That said, when you log into the forums successfully, you should not be prompted for email verification on any machine after the fact, ever. At least not that I've ever seen and I've been on forums (both vBulletin and phpbb) for well over a decade. Are you clicking "Remember Me" when you try and log in?

At home:
Have you tried to clear your browser cookies and history?
Are you running some sort of adblocker or popup blocker software?
Is your computer mac, pc, linux fully updated?
Have you tried using a different browser? Chrome, Iron, FireFox, IE, Netscape?

Jst throwing out some basic suggestions and questions.
