Please help me decide!

I've decided to get an Al Mar Eagle (classic) but I can't decide if I should get:

Classic or talon shaped blade?

Coccobolo or micarta or bone scales?


I'm leaning toward the classic blade shape with Coccobolo scales... A true classic

Tough choice, you really can't go wrong with any of those combinations. I had an Eagle Talon with Micarta as well as an Ultralight with the Classic blade. I really love the looks of the Talon but I found the flat ground blade to be a bit slicier (is that a word). Hope this helps.

I think the Talon blade looks a bit better too, but considering the knife will be in pocket in a leather pouch seems as if thumb studs and the slightly faster deployment speed are pointless.

Hmm, maybe I'll just get both
