Hi, it's a late 50's into early 60's Tenite #14 in a late 80's to mid 90's sheath - what is it you want to know?

Thank's Melvin :-) It was the sheath I was a little confused about but now I know. :-)
One more question. What can it be worth. ? I'm asking this because I have some trade offers against other Randalls i'm thinking of.

What is it worth? Easily 'won meelion dollahs'...well that, or whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Missing the original sheath is a major negative. Not onlt would you need to find a very rare period correct sheath and stone, but the condition would need to match that of the knife. If you're soliciting bids, you're in the wrong BFC sub-forum... ;)

"Melvin" was a little harsh - but not wrong. But we get tired of people whose only question is "what's it worth?" We're not appraisers. Sure, we know what it's worth. But it's your knife, and it shouldn't take too much time paying attention to what's selling on eBay to get a pretty good feel for it yourself.

That said, without the sheath, I'll go out on a limb and say I'd give you $300 for it. You'd be a fool to take that, though.

Well..... Let me think..... :-)
I'm still learning alot from you guys and i'm a new collector on Randalls. For me it's the newer Randalls but i also had a 60s Low S .
I ask you about this knife because I had some trade offers for some newer Randalls from other Randall collectors for the knife, . I try to educate myself as much I can but it's not enough. :-) I think i'm gona do a trade because I like the never Randalls and i'm getting an opportunity to have a couple instead of one. :-)

It seems to be common the leather sheaths from this era didnt always make it. Probably the djungle moisture and climat got hard on the leather.
