please help me ID this Spyderco that I found at the bottom of my Kit bag

hey guys, so i've been going through some old gear that hasn't seen the light of day in a while and found this Spyderco. not even sure where it came from. i've researched the Spyderco site and no luck in identifying the model or perhaps when it was made. i'd appreciate any help i can get. thx dave

That is a renegade model number C23

If I remember correctly the combo edge was released around 2001

hey thanks Rycen. do you know when they were made? is it a pretty common model? i don't even know where or when i picked it up.

It's been discontinued for a while so it isn't that common.

Not common, but not rare either. IIRC, the part serrated ones were built using "leftover" parts and are considered by collectors to be somewhat inferior to the older plain and full serrated ones.
