Hi everyone,

I have a Case knife, but it is stamped Case XX Solingen Germany. Alternate side is stamped DE 17506. DE 440C Germany. I wasn't aware there were Case knives made in Germany.

I have some great pictures, but cannot get them to attach to the thread.

I'd love to know what type of knife it is and if it is of any value.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Something about this knife doesn't seem right to me. It really looks to me like an elk ridge, which it very well could be if it's not real.
Now if it is legitimate and was actually made in Germany for case, I'm willing to bet it was made by boker. They have used a very similar wood on some fixed blades, they use an etch on their blades, and often use 440c.
