Below is a pic of the 2 SAK's I currently own. The one on the left is a new Soldier model that was a gift. The one on the right I have had for probably at least 20 years and I have no idea what model it is. Can anyone tell me what model that is? I'm just curious. The only tools not shown in the pic is the toothpick and tweezers that I didn't bother pulling for the pic.

Assuming it is a Victorinox, that would be the Super Tinker.

...And not only did he VT get it in there before me, but also with more detailed information. Show off :p

Look like it has the split in the Phillips so as it can work as a meat-can opener as well. Looks like it's in good condition too.

Good eyes!

This may also help date it. I am not aware of a year when Victorinox stopped making the Phillips with the can-key split -
that scan was from a Victorinox brochure circa 1988 -
I think by the end of the 80's the can-key split was no longer commonly available.

Also up to the early 80's the corkscrew replacement Phillips was square cross-section.

So this would make that SAK an 80's example possibly between 1982-89?

Interesting. I never knew what that was for. I've been keeping this knife in my gun cleaning kit just to use for a quick cut or pry when needed. I think I'll move it to my Bug Out Bag since it has some uses I did not know about. Thanks for the info.
