Okay so hear me out. I found this knife in a box, up in my parents attic. It belonged to one of my grandparents and it seems to be an older generation of the brand Elk Ridge.
This is what I found out about it:
- brand: Elk Ridge
- usa based outdoor brand
- folding knife
- 440 stainless steel
- mass produced (I think) in China
- some kind of wooden finish on the handle.

I can't seem to find identical copies of this specific knife anywhere on the internet. I found several websites sellig Elk Ridge knives, but none seemed to have this particular knife in stock. I also failed to find an official Elk Ridge website or webshop anywhere.

If you know more, please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Jens

Not sure what more info there is to add to what you already have. Elk Ridge is a line of very inexpensive knives manufactured in China. Simply using Google you should be able to find a number of retailers. Most of their products don't have specific model names, and I expect they make a run until the tooling is used up and then make the next one.

There's at least one dealer offering warranty work, but I expect the shipping would be more than the cost of the knife.

I don't think they really have any sort of website, and I believe the last elk ridge knife I owned may have had a limited one year warranty on the box, but I have no clue how one could even go about getting a repair or replacement. I think it's just there as a selling point.

Btw they have some fixed blades that are perfectly usable with decent fit and finish for the price, but their folders are not very good at all.

The design and country of origin suggests mid 1990s or later. If one of your grandparents owned this
particular knife I'm rather curious as to your age.;)

Cheap old guys buy cheap crap. My dad always had some cheap knife or gadget he picked up with coke rewards or got for signing up for something he didnt need.
