I've seen:

Golden Boar. Maybe 10-11" with golden boar accents on the guard and the ?pommel?
Golden Eagle. Maybe 13-14" with golden eagle accents on the guard and the ?pommel?
Golden Bear. Maybe 15-16" with golden bear accents on the guard and the ?pommel?

But, I have never seen that one. Sorry.

I'm sure Dave (kershawguy) will come along and tell you all about it without breaking a sweat.

Come on Dave, don't let us down. :D

That particular one was a limited edition North American wildlife Bowie called naturally "American bald eagle" . It was produced in the fall of 1992. I know that some of the later ones ( the grizzly and the Buffalo) were 440C blade steel, with Stamina wood handles. There were 5 different knives in the series the two I have not mentioned already were the Big Horn sheep and the Whitetail deer. As far as value goes I can only say that the Eagle had an MSRP of $300.00 in 1992.

Thank you Kershawguy (Dave) for your help. This one is serial numbered 0013/5000. I thought it might be from the 80's due to when my father bought alot of his knives. I'm glad that you knew about it and gave me the info. Edited for Spam.

Ok sorry, didn't know you couldn't. I know you can on sportscard forums so I figured it would be allowed here. Thanks for the info!

Oops. See, you didn't edit your post fast enough, and now you have a red infraction icon. :( Oh well, it was only 10 points.

For future reference:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/faq.php?faq=faq_rules

Basically, the site is funded by different levels of paying members, and they are the only ones allowed to sell or advertise their stuff here. And even then, it's pretty much restricted to the Exchange area.

Is there anyway to get rid of the infraction or is it too late for all that. Darn I didn't join to get into trouble.

Just behave yourself from here on out and it will expire.
If we allowed what you did here, this forum would be filled with people advertising their knives for sale. This is primarily a discussion forum and not a place for people to take advantage of the readership and those who support this place as well as the owner.

Ok thank you and once again I'm sorry. Guess that teaches me to look into things alittle and not assume things are like other forums.

Note that the infraction was for "minor spam." So no big deal.

You'd need another 40 or so infraction points to "get in trouble."

BTW.

Very cool looking knife. :D.
(and Dave is a great source of info)

Well I won't be getting anymore points now that I know what i can and can't do. Thanks for your help "riffraff".

Thank you for the compliment on the knife "Bastid". Yes Dave does seem like a great source and I thank him for knowledge.
