- 9 1/2" overall length
- 4 1/2" blade
- one side tang stamped with Valor Miami, U.S.A.
- the other side is tang stamped 440 Stainless #4000565 Japan

I found this Valor Balisong at a flea market for $10. I don't know much about them. Is this a specific model? How much is it worth? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

Valor was one of the better of the imports from Japan. They had a number of different styles and blade patterns.

They even had some copies of the BM series 100/200 knives.

As for what it worth??

Great price for a pretty good knife

On it's own merit, in my opinion it's worth around $30, but it could go as high as $50 or $60, because it's somewhat rare and in short supply. Thanks, JohnR7 www.BalisongKnife.com

Valor created some of the best Balisongs out there back in the 80's. As for the model, not sure. You got a real good deal on it for just $10. Don't ya just love those flea markets..lol.
Value is hard to determine from the pic, but somewhere between $35 and $75 depending upon condition would be my estimate.
