Hi. There is a small area where the slabs are separated from the tang. On one side this is barely noticeable and on the other side the separation is too slight to photograph.
There is only a small amount of material here and the blade is bead blasted.
Specifically - where you see the file work and only about halfway down - about 1/4".
Is it possible for me to make a professional looking repair and if so could you please advise me how best to go about this.
Your insight is greatly appreciated as I am fond of this knife and would like to keep it in my collection.

You might try a toothpick and a tiny drop of super glue.Put the drop on the tip of the scale and gently clamp it down with a light weight spring clamp.Let it set overnight.Remove clamp and see what happens.Add more glue to fill in if needed, letting dry overnight each build up.Done carefully, with the tiniest drops of glue, this may work.

Hi Stacy. Would it be best to try superglue or epoxy? My concern is if I end up with anything on the scales or tang which product would be easier to remove and what would I apply to remove it - rubbing alcohol?

Thank you folks - I am now armed with the information I need to attempt this and optimistic about achieving the desired result.

Use a toothpick and a TINY drop of superglue. You can add more easier than take extra off.- Stacy
