Please help: Microtech LCC, LH model?

Hello,
I really want a Microtech LCC.
I know that it's got ambidextrous thumb studs but the clip is stuck to the one side (and I prefer a liner lock that I can easily push out of the way with my left thumb).
I was on a site a couple of days ago and I saw what looked to be custom models of a bunch of these knives (the LCC was approx. $450)...
I'm thinking that this might (hopefully) be a way for me to get a LH model and have now decided that I'd be willing to pay that BUT, alas, I'm not able to find the site again.
Anyone have any feedback on my situation, corrections to my understanding on any of this or know a link to the site that I might have been looking at?
Thanks very much.

UPDATE: I found the site, thanks. Any additional info still appreciated.

Greg doesn't make autos though, so if you're hoping for a lefty D/A, you're out of luck. :( He's Canadian after all...

That's exactly what I finally found, Lightfoot's site. Thanks, Kamagong.

I live in Los Angeles, looking for a M/A.
Looks like the only problem, then, is my financial one!!

WARNING: right handed liner locks are dangerous to Left Handers.

I would never use a right handed liner lock.

I to would like to own a Left Handed LCC. :(

funny shiznit!!! green chiclets for you!:)

I always liked the LCC and just got a D/A one. I am also left handed, but can also work with my right hand reasonably well, therefore I use it right handed. If you can't wait for Greg to make you a left handed manual version, which actually differs somewhat from Microtech's interpretation, you might consider a Sebenza. They definitely make left handed knives and I also own one of those and love it. Check it out. It will possess some of the great feel you might have experienced with the Microtech LCC, but slightly different.

Thanks for all these suggestions/ideas/pieces of info. I was thinking about a Sebenza... don't like the look as much but keep hearing really good things about it.

If I were you I would give some serious thought about getting a the new micarta inlayed classic Sebenza. The thing I like about CRK is that they will make you a very nice left hand folder. And it will be a completely left hand dedicated which means you need to make no compromises.

You make a good point... got me thinking.
Besides, I like to support companies that cater to lefties.
I went on Chris Reeve knives and didn't see the micarta inlayed sebenza.
Have to say, not a bad looking knife. Fairly simple.
Is there a picture and order option somewhere else?
Thanks.

I don't know if they are making Left Handed Classics with micarta yet.

You would have to contact them and ask, but here's a picture.

The inlay is not on their website yet. Middle of July they will do a couple of lefties. If you call them now and order, you may have one in your pocket by the end of summer. I'm a lefty and they said they would have my large with serrations hopefully (cross my fingers) by second week in August. I also like to support companies that cater to lefties. I may be wrong but I think that CRK is the only production company making left hand knives on a regular basis. But then again I don't consider CRK to be a production company but to be technical, that is the classification they fall into. Anyway, they make they lefties in batches and a batch is going through the middle of July. ;) :p

I'm getting used to the idea of owning one of those. :D
I'll get in contact with them later today.
Just so I don't choke over the phone when they give me a price, how much is this knife (thinking serrations, too) and did they bill you now or will they later?
Thanks for the feedback, all.

I believe they're running $450-$500.

Honestly, I bought my Sebenza so long ago that I don't remember when they billed it. I want to say they don't bill until it ships but I couldn't swear to it.

Hope this helps,
B.

Yeah, it does help.
That's a little bit more than I wanted to spend...
I say wanted because just about an hour ago I put in an order for a custom Greg Lightfoot LH Predator Backup.
Couldn't seem to help myself.
That's my knife budget for the next couple of years, talk to you all again then.
Thanks.

I definitely think it will be.
Thanks for the positive comment, it's a purchase that has me a little warm in the head... "I just paid how much for what?!"
This is my first custom. :D
