Hello! many years ago at Jelly Stone Park, me and my family were walking of to a fishing spot, while walking we passed other people’s campsites, I saw a bright red in the fireplace of and empty campsite and walked over to see what it was. At the time i was about 10, and really didn’t know much about knives and the such, still don’t, but when i got over there i found a pocket knife, it had a bright red handle and you could barely read it but it said SWISS ARMY in big white font I kept it and now years later i wondered what specific models of knife it was and if i could purchase a new handle online. So i made an account here in hopes any of you knife nuts could help! I plan on checking here weekly and any advise would be wonderful! Also, if you need specific or more photos just comment it! PS i have 14 days before the free trial got this website will expire so if this takes long enough the link may change

did the photos i post not go through? i’m doing this from my phone, i don’t have a functioning computer

No pictures whatsoever. You will need to link them from an image hosting site without a paid membership.

Hi David, I hate to be "that" guy but I would highly suggest you try to find a computer and post some pics. Members might be skeptical to send you their email address for fear of a flood of email spam.

Hello, l am sorry to disappoint you, but this is quite poor Chinese copy of the Victorinox, the Swiss brand with great reputation and quality. If you like this knife you need to try original for sure. They are not expensive and you will be impressed with quality of it.
If you need exact name of the model please make picture with opened instruments, for now I think it is “ranger” model.

Thank you so much! while looking at knife handles I did see their website but noticed mine was slightly off, and I thought mine was some obscure brand or a knockoff, I will be sure to check them out!

Hey, one more question, do you perhaps know the specific name of the knife mine was trying to replicate? i’m seeing ones called ‘Heracles’ or ‘Huntsman’ and can’t find measurements to compare with mine.

Models depends from instrument inside, please make pics of it.

Of course! The new pictures have been added!
OK, l see now. So there of course no exact same models, Chinese guys not very accurate in this :D but closed original model to your knife is Victorinox Ranger, the main difference is metal file instead of fish cleaning device and absent of fillips screwdriver on the spine (in original models you need to chose between screwdriver or corkscrew).

Thank you, i’ll be sure to order this one ASAP!

I am sure you will be surprised with differences in quality. Will be great if you will shear your impression here.
Sure! It may be awhile till i can get the money for it, maybe a week or two, but i’ll be sure to give my opinion on it in this thread!

D DavidRH Jelly Stone Park? Is this the JSP by Six Flags?
Nope, it was called Jelly Stone Park, I can’t remember where it is though, they had Yogi Bear merchandise and things like that, water park, arcade, cafeteria, and campgrounds there are definitely multitude of them though, whatever one is closest to WV is probably the one i went to.
