Hello, I have a Buck 112 with a 2006 date code and a curved or circular Logo and it says Buck 112 USA Knives in the Tang area. Is this a unusual tang stamp? I usually see block letters or script lettering in a straight line on buck knives and not curved or circular type of lettering. Would one of the Buck knife experts be able to tell me about this tang stamp? My thanks in advance.

I believe that's a club logo stamp in the Tang area... Could be a build out to...
Somebody will come by and tell you for sure...

:)

Pictures always help... What kind of handles and bolsters brass or nickel silver...Is it in a limited edition box or a plain Jane box...

:)

JB I think you got it and then it became the club logo right...

:)

???? I can't ever remember which came first Armand the chicken or the egg? The first BCCI knife to have the new curved stamp was Dec 07 on the BCCI full chippy with Buff.

See if the tang stamp looks like the bottom 112s stamp. These were made for Walmart at Christmas time and came in a gift tin.

here is an old thread on the above knife when they were issued in 06

Thanks for posting your very nice photographs...Yes the bottom knife tang stamp is correct. I had never seen this tang stamp before and was curious as to what the story was on it. I have NS bolsters/pins and cherry wood scales. It's a looker, but the NS is a bit tarnished...but so am I. :)

Hi Donald,

Welcome to the Buck forum! Please post a few photo's of your 112 we all love photo's here. Tarnished no worries brother, so are most of us here. Sounds like your knife is a custom with NS & Cherrywood scales. Do you have the box it was sold in? If so a printed label may aid us in nailing down more information on your knife.
