Please help with removing thumb stud -

I just purchased a Adrenaline-Ti, and I really like it except that the thumb stud on the side with the clip catches on my pocket. I need to know if this thing is screwed on, pressed, glued, etc. If I can't actually remove only one side, I don't have a problem with using my Dremel to grind it down and smooth it out if I have too, but I'd rather go a different way. Any help would be appreciated.

the thumbstud is pressed on. The front side presses into the back side. If you were to grind the back side down the thumbdtus may fall out. You could pull it apart with a pair of vise-grips or bench vise etc. Then use a punch and hammer to set the one sided thumbstud into the hole in the blade.

Thanks for the tip - I guess that's the only clean way to do it. We'll just see if I can pull it off this weekend...
