I purchased a Benchmade Fixed Blade Griptilian Black 154CM Stanless 4.15" Combo Edge, Benchmade Gamer Fecas Sheath Knife Plain Edge 4.11" Blade
440C & a Cold Steel Counter TAC I, Fixed Dagger, 5" Blade w/Sheath AUS8. I probably will not be very hard on them; however, you never know. Thereofre, can you provide some sharpening and/or care advise.
thank you very much :o)>

As long as you don't let your knives get too dull, pick up a sharpening system like a Sharpmaker or Lansky, and those will help keep your knives razor sharp.

They're inexpensive and basically idiot-proof.

I found this thread to be very helpfull on getting my knives just that much sharper. If you strop often you shouldnt need to actually use stones as much.

Edited to add: If I didnt already not know how to sharpen on a benchstone I would have picked up one of the sharpening systems (probably a sharpmaker) a long time ago!

Cheers,
Matt

This forum is outstanding; indeed, the memebers are very kind and helpful-I would recommend this site to my friends!!

May I be allowed to suggest an Edge pro, Apex. Sold by Ben Dale. His system does work. So many systems out there don't work or are to hard to use.

The Apex is a bit pricey But if your serious about blades you won't regret it.
His web address is , EdgePRO Inc.com Give him a call and he'll heip you.

All these systems have learning curves so don't think you'll get them to work right out of the box unless your lucky.
I,ve also heard good things about Spyderco Sharp Maker. It only has 2 Angles to chose from And it takes forever to really re profile a blade if it needs it. Alot of the members here own one and every once in a while you'll get somebody thats is having a hard time getting it to work.

But this is just my 2 cents,
