I'm in the market for a survival knife and iv narrowed it down to two knives. The bk7 or naplai 5160 ka-bar or also known as arms police force special black knife. Iv seen field test done with both and they seem legit. I'm leaning toward the Nepali because I'm in love with the way it looks. Another thing I'm interested in is the sheath, I want one that I can upgrade with a survival pouch of some sort. Please help me with any info you have regarding these two knives

I'd go with the Becker. The other one is just a copy of the KaBar USMC.

Beckers are made by KaBar - the company that makes the original version of the copy you are considering. Not saying the other one is a bad knife. It might be fantastic. I'm just saying I would recommend the Becker.

I have the bk7 and can testify the it is tough and versatile; great all around blade. Mine stripped, has ipe scales, and a kydex sheath. The only reason I use it less often lately is because I reach for my Busse TGLB instead, especially when dealing with wood. For food related tasks, however, the bk7---or even better, the bk17--is the fixed blade I reach for... You really just can't go wrong with a Becker, generally.

Thank you guys :) I appreciate the time you took to reply. You really helped a lot and looks like I'm gettin a bk7 :). Thanks again for all your help
