i am highly intrigued by both the manix and the ocelot if possible i would appreciate a quick comparing reveiw and some side by side pics thank you very much

Well, you'll have to hunt around for pics, but here goes:
They are both G10 handled, steel linered lockbacks. The difference in steel is insignificant (I'll wager no one agrees with me there, but both steels have their fans). So essentially similar knives, yes? Well no, not really. The oclelot has a slim hollow ground blade designed for hunting - takes a very fine edge, sharpens easily, slices very well. However, the light weight and hollow grind means that the knife will perform less well at chopping and battening, and you wouldn't want to pry with it either
The blade on the manix is a full 1mm thicker than that of the ocelot, and is full flat ground, giving a blade that excels at chopping and battening whilst still slicing reasonably well, as well as prying, digging, fighting natives and scaring small children. Even the small Manix is double the size of the ocelot due to it's width.
So really, it's down to you:

The Ocelot - a small slim knife, very nice design, ideal for EDC

The Manix - a great beast of a knife, perhaps a bit large for EDC but able to deal with anything you throw at it

Hope that helps.
