I just acquired a very, very unusual variant.

First off, it is NOT a #1010 'Astronaut.'

Here are the specs...

Standard 5-inch blade that is matte silver in finish as is the guard/pommel (not shiny like the chromed #1010)...it has NO fuller, just flat like the ones used for etching/engraving (no etching on this one).

Blade stamped CAMILLUS,NY with no date of manufacture the on the pommel nut (pinned not peened).

Handle is smoothly varnished like the #1010.

Typical sheath but with chrome/polished rivets/snap and stitched with brown thread instead of white.

I've searched all over the 'net and CANNOT find a single one like it. Thanks!
