This forgotten knife came out of my toolbox. It is a Spyderco from 1993/94
with a 4 inch blade and marked SPYDERCO G-2 STAINLESS on one side, and
SEKI CITY JAPAN on the other. I apologize for the poor close up photos.
I tried to identify it on the Spyderco site without success. Does anyone know the
model and if it is still in production? I have several knives but this is the only Spyderco.
THank you
Ken

The knife itself is still in production just not that variation. If you want to read more about it you can search model number C 12

I recall that this blade appeared in the FAMOUS and cinematically IMPORTANT 1993 film, "Only The Strong." It is wielded by the character played by the actor Richard Coca, and it resulted in my 11-yr old self finding a way to acquire my first "serious" blade, the Spyderco clipit Delica (fully serrated- only gets carried on the sailboat due to the loathsome serrations).

The helicopter pilot from yet another EARTH SHAKING film from 1993 (Cliffhanger) also had an impact in my quest for a Spyderco. What a year.
