Please Identify type of Slabs

I orderes this SAR6 from the Company Store a few months ago. I selected the only option available at the time. Satin finish, double cut, black paper micarta. The knive arrived and I thought I got lucky as based on the coloring and the website photos I scored tigerhide handles. I am now sellling the knife and someone from the forum informs me this is not possible, that these are black paper micarta - NOT tigerhide. Please advise as to what type of slabs you believe those in the photo's to be. I do not want anyone thinking I am misadvertising a product simply due to my lack of knowledge. Definitely NOT black paper. I have a BP CABS in front of me right now, and it has a smooth texture, charcoal grey to black color, and very little visible graining. There are several threads here with BP or Black paper in the title, showing off knives, and your slabs look nothing like those.

Having said that, not sure what you do have. Pics are a little fuzzy. Might be tigerhide, might be black canvas micarta. Why don't you try wetting the material with water, and take a better pic. That will bring out the color.
 
That is straight up standard black canvas micarta.

I think that knife is doublecut only as well. I don't think you can have a doublecut satin knife.

That looks like a Double Cut blade with black canvas scales to me. Definitely not tigerhide as it's not an LE
 
Yup, absolutely no mistaking canvas for black paper!!!!!

The first set did kind of look like tan canvas, but the second set it is obviously black canvas. Much clearer pics.

Colors vary from batch to batch of the stuff.

Good luck with the sale. Hopefully it is to fund another piece of infi!

There is no Satin-Double Cut option. It is either Satin, or double cut...

And you pic definitely is of a double cut blade.
