This can be a spot for anyone who doesn't know which KITH to join. Simply post a picture of a recent knife or two and let the forum decide which KITH you should join.

I'll start. I'm not sure if I want to join one this year, but am considering it. Since I have never made a KITH knife before, I would like your opinion. Which one should I join? These are my two most recent knives aside from simple fixed blades.

Give it to me straight, I can take it.

Those look like absolute horsecarp! They belong in the pre-newbie KITH!

Just kiddin of course! Great knives and excellent leatherwork! I would be proud to make or own something like that!

It is hard to tell if they are any good or not...what with photo shop and all.
Send them to me for destructive testing and I'll get back to you by November 30th. with a decision.

Just kidding, of course. They are very nice.

Here are a couple of mine. Let me know what Y'all think.

um, yeah.. no beginner knives there... is that a python snakeskin inlay?? can't really tell, python skin prices have skyrocketed !!!

and Darrin, I'm thinking those handles alone are worth as much as a knife.. :)

I think this thread is a perfect idea!
(just thinking out loud here, if some well established makers don't want to join the KITH any more there might be place for a 3rd KITH open only by invitation or vote or so?)

I think the standard is set high this year.
Makes me kick my butt to get my shop workable and join the fun!

Darrin, I'd say you get to run with the big dogs.

Rob, that snakeskin came from a 6' timber rattlesnake that my friend found on his property in NE Texas and kept as a pet for the last several years. When it died he tanned it for me

Thanks guys. Jason I like both pieces that you posted but I really like the dagger. Although its not popular anymore I still love brass fittings.
