Yes, that's what I want. More SMOGs are nice, but any Game Warden with TEETH will do. :D

Please :begs:

Who's with me???

There was one on the exchange this afternoon.

I'm guessing he'd rather get one without the $100 mark up. I think that the fact that they get listed on the Exchange at almost 50% over list price is a pretty good indication that there's a pretty good market for that sort of knife.

Well, it isn't quite $100 for the one I am talking about. Its more like $85, then you consider it is shipped so knock off about $10 for the guys shipping cost, it is more like $75. It would be nice to get them for the original price everytime, but being that they are a mil over run, making them limited and that they don't last long at the Co. Store you snag them when you can as long as you are comfortable with the price.

I'd like to get one with all but 3/4" from the tip serrated. Would do GREAT on cleaning a deer. I use serrations to split the breast bone. I would even get one in something other than TAN (If I had to:D )

The one I saw was $327, shipped. The Company Store's website says the list price for that model is $217. So that's actually more than a hundred dollars. Knock off $10, and it's exactly a hundred dollars. (I know there was a shipping charge from the Company Store, but that charge is the same whether you buy one or many, so there's no way to tell what the seller actually has in the knife.)

And while the SMOG may be a mil overrun, I think the prices are significantly inflated not because SMOGs are limited editions, but because all GWs--and particularly serrated ones--are in such short supply. Personally, I don't care about having a limited edition; I just want a serrated GW with the .140 thick blade, and I don't want to have to pay an extra hundred bucks to a scalper to get one. Is that really too much to ask for a knife that's currently in production?

Well, you could try to find one of the standard .140" models and ask Garth if you can get the serrations put on it by the guys at the shop. They may say no, but it would be worth asking.

On a side note I think the price shipped from the Co. Store for a serrated SMOG was $231.95.

Yes, that is what I meant! I just want teeth - don't have to have the SMOG handles - any handle will work. I really think that there is a demand for this far greater than just a few of us asking for customized toothy wardens!

Who's with me???

Last I knew, Skunk was sitting on nearly 7,000 serrated SMOGs but was waiting to hear from you guys as to whether you wanted anymore. . . .. . . .

You see. . . Skunk has this theory, that in order to be known as "the guy with the INFI", he needs to hoard all of the knives but NEVER sell them!!! . . . That way if anybody wants to look at a particular model, he's got it. . . He's very reluctant to sell anything!!!. . . .

. . . . No, wait a minute, I'm thinking of someone else. . . . . .That's right, Skunk will sell you the bottle of scotch he's drinking right now for a dollar!!!! . . . Please disregard the first part of this post. . . ;)

I'm not sure an empty bottle is worth a dollar. After all, if its the bottle he's drinking right now, its probably already empty!
