It's weird, day 2 of the SHOT show and I can't find a thread with attendees giving us info on what's happening there. Would love to hear some updates and see some pictures about new products, discontinued products, company info, etc. So unless there's another thread somewhere I haven't been able to find, LET US KNOW WHATS GOING ON AT THE SHOW!

Yeah, I saw that one, but I figured we could get more folks involved by putting a thread in General.

I'd also like to see some pics. I've seen some neat new gun pics, but no knives. And I know at least a few knife companies are there.

Ka-Bar also introduced a pistol bayonet on a blue Glock 22.

Hint Hint, If you are looking for Gift ideas, I have a Birthday in a couple of months. :D:D:D

What's the deal with those silenced Glocks? Can those silencers be bought legally aftermarket and used at your typical indoor range?

Silencers can be bought legally but there are some hoops you have to jump threw. First you have to find a class 3 ffl that will handle a transfer, you have to fill out and submit an application to the BATFE signed by the chief law enforcement officer of your area along with a complete set of finger prints. Then if you get approved then you also pay a 200.00 tax on the silencer. Theres more but needless to say it's a real PITA.

Hi, all
I've been posting on the KnifeCenter blog daily - actually several times a day. I'm not taking pictures at the show- just no time. It's a big show to cover plus we will get the items up pretty quickly anyway! The Spyderco stuff is phenomenal - as always, as is the new selection from Columbia River - these are always the 2 most creative outfits as you all know. There are a few trends which I have posted about, especially some very cool blade shapes - like we have seen on some Japanese utility knives, but brought out in folders. Lots of orange- OK not too exciting overall. The Chokwa (or whatever)- African influenced folder from Spyderco is my favorite. Their trend is to have a bunch of items made for them in Taiwan but using steel like S30V that they ship over there. I guess the SAGE worked out for them! Lots of wide blades.
I spent a lot of time on the blog and so won't retype it all here. This is the last day

I laughed when I saw the bayonet. If they're that close, you've had memory failure and forgotten to fire your pistol. :D

Easily the most retarded thing ever. I love it! Perfect for cutting your steak while your back's against the wall watching the front door of a joint.
