Please recommend me a good fixed stainless steel knife

...for the kitchen! I'm looking for something similar to the Becker BK16, 4-4.5 inches. Made in USA is even better. Something that can hold an edge well. Carbon steel is also fine but it must not have epoxy coating. I want a smooth surface knife. Thanks in advance.

Does the BK15 count? Mine was rough, espeically compared to the BK5. But stripped down it works pretty awesome.
 
I don't want to modify the knife. I have bk15. I only want a good stainless steel for the kitchen that looks like the bk16. I don't like any of the Condor knife... bought one and returned it.
 
forget fixed, get a Buck 110, the 3and3/4 inch blade does just fine. Just don't poke an eye out. I heard that happens when people choose the wrong forum.
 
Why don´t you post your question in the "General Knife Discussion"? Maybe you´ll get more replies than here in the Multitool subforum.
